How to programming / activating the crystals and stones

How to programming / activating the crystals and stones

After you choose and clear your Gemstone or Crystal, it is a good idea to dedicate it or program it.  The purpose of programming a Crystal or Gemstone is to focus its abilities on something you specifically need, thereby magnifying the Stone's intent through your own.  The purpose of dedicating the Stone to a high level healing energy or Goddess (God) is to protect it from negative energy.  A Crystal or Stone that is programmed and dedicated in these ways becomes much more powerful and useful as a tool.

You Needed to Program Your Crystal:
•    The Crystal
•    Clear Intent - Know what you want to program the crystal to do.
•    Focused Action - This method is one focused action.

Step One - Clear your crystal (The cleaning process of crystals) with whatever method you prefer, and sit down with your crystal at your personal altar or in a place that you're not likely to be disturbed while you are programming your crystal. With the Stone being newly cleared, the energy will feel stronger and even more appealing that before.

Step Two - Hold the crystal in your dominant hand (right hand if right handed) and take your other hand, hold it on top of the crystal about one or two inches from it. If you are sensitive enough, you will feel the energy flow from your one hand to the other with the crystal in between. After clear your mind of unrelated thoughts and be relaxed. Than quietly ask the crystals if it is willing to act in the way you wish.  The Crystals energy may increase with a yes or seem to disappear with a no.  If the Stone accepts your intent, state in your mind that it be so.

Step Three - On all walls (all sides) of the crystal, create images of your wish. See the facets like movie screens with what you want happening. It is important that your pictures be very alive, very fluid. Focus on your intention for your crystal by saying descriptive words aloud. For instance, if you want to program your crystal to bring peace of mind, start repeating the words "peace of mind" over and over again. A whisper is fine if a normal tone of voice would attract distracting attention from others.

Step Four - Repeat your intent verbally into your non-dominant hand, then place that hand over your crystal to push the vibrations into the crystal.

Step Five - Continue holding the crystal and repeating your intention until it feels as though the vibrations have sunk into the crystal fully. If necessary, repeat step four. The new vibrations are now stored in the crystal, the program will stay until you clear the crystal again; some people think that it is best to seal the crystal. You can imagine a blue light around the crystal to seals it.

Once your intuition tells you or you have a sense that the crystal has accepted the vibrations, open your hands and thank the crystal. The crystal is now programmed.

This method can also be used with tumbled stones, spheres, polished crystals, and natural chunks of minerals, as well as natural crystals.

To retrieve and use the crystal's program, hold and rub the crystal while asking (silently or out loud) for its programming to be released and those energies come out.

To erase the crystal's program, simply clear the crystal with intent to remove the programming.

The better your concentration is the better you can use this technique to transmit your wish into the crystal. It is recommended that you develop good concentration skill.

You may also choose to dedicate your Gemstone or Crystal to a specific healing energy, for example, to a Goddess of healing.  There are many healing goddesses, including Shiv, Shakti, Vishnu, Lakshmi, Jesus, Allah and Om etc... For Stones programmed for protection, Bhadhrakal or Kali are strong protection Goddesses.

Lava Stones / Beads Healing Properties

Lava Stones / Beads Healing Properties

Lava Stone meaning
Lava Rock is natural igneous rock, hardened after a volcano eruption. The beads are shaped and smoothed, leaving the small cavities characteristic to the stone. Lava beads are lightweight and smooth to the touch. Use these for a unique look!

Lava stone is easily the oldest and most frequently found stone in world; hence, it’s used by nearly an endless amount of cultures.

Lava stone literally comes from the core of the earth- fiery brimstone that bubbles to the surface and cools.

Once the stone is cool, it becomes porous and black, creating the beautiful black color so many have come to love.

This is known as basalt, and can mostly be found in the ocean.

Healing Properties
Lava stone doesn’t really have the “look” of something that is healing; but for centuries it has been used to do exactly that.

When thinking of lava stones, it’s important to keep in mind that it’s origin plays a key role in its energetic qualities.

Emotional- Since lava is known for its grounding qualities, it’s wonderful for calming the emotions. In fact, the quality of fire springs from the ground, so in terms of healing gems, this lends itself to a calming- but intense- energy. Because it comes from raw energy, it’s considered to be a stone of rebirth and shedding unneeded layers of emotional attachment.

Spiritual- Lava stones are fantastic for stabilizing and grounding the root chakra. This is because of the strong connection to the earth and its creation within the center of Earth. In folk remedies, it was also given to soldiers to help them remain calm during battle.

How to Use Lava stone
Typically, lava stone (like most healing gemstones) is recommended to be worn in close contact with the skin, if not directly on the skin.

This is because the barrier for absorption is not blocked by anything.

It gives easy access for the energy to flow clearly, and usually malas and bracelets are used for this purpose.

However, lava stone can also be used in rooms in order to help with emotional clearing, or to keep things energetically balanced.

Tibetan Dzi Stone Beads- Meaning and Origin

Tibetan Dzi Stone Beads

Meanings
To Tibetans and other Himalayan people, the dZi is a "precious jewel of supernatural origin" with great power to protect its wearer from disaster. The Tibetan people believe dZi beads are spiritual stones fallen from Heaven which bring good karma to those who own them. The ancient Dzi absorbs cosmic energy from the universe. Tibetans generally believe that dZi beads are of divine origin and therefore not created by human hands. Some say they are dropped by the Gods to benefit those who have the good fortune to find them. Since they are believed to have a divine source, they are considered to be a very precious and powerful amulet. Beads can often be seen in Tibetan temples adorning the most revered statues and sacred relics. They are thought to bring good fortune, ward off evil, and protect the wearer from physical harm and illness. It has even been claimed by Tibetan refugees, that they protect the wearer from knife and bullet attacks!

Dzi (pronounced Zee) is a Tibetan word used to describe a patterned, usually agate, of mainly oblong, round, cylindrical or tabular shape pierced lengthwise called Heaven's Bead (tian zhu) in Chinese. The meaning of the Tibetan word "Dzi" translates to "shine, brightness, clearness, splendour". The beads originate in the Tibetan cultural sphere and can command high prices and are difficult to come by. It’s said to possess mysterious powers and bring good fortune to the wearer. Ancient and pure dZi beads of Tibet are extremely precious and rare. No matter how many or how few eyes they bear, all dZi beads possess the mystic power of bringing luck, warding off evil, stabilizing blood pressure, guarding against apoplexy and enhancing body strength. Owners and wearers of these beads are blessed with unexpected credit, luck and perfection.

They are found primarily in Tibet, but also in neighboring Bhutan, Ladakh and Sikkim. Shepherds and farmers pick them up in the grasslands or while cultivating fields. Because dZi are found in the earth, Tibetans cannot conceive of them as man-made. Since knowledge of the bead is derived from oral traditions, few beads have provoked more controversy concerning their source, method of manufacture and even precise definition.

This all contributes to making them the most sought after and collectable beads on earth. The most prized pure dZi, are generally beads with eyes or unusual decorations. A pure dZi may or may not have eyes. It can be opaque or partially translucent (In Tibet, translucent beads are usually valued lower). The most sought after base colour is an opaque dark brown to black.

"Pure" dzi beads, in the traditional Tibetan system for evaluating dzi, are regarded as the most valuable and desirable variety.

Etched agate beads not considered pure are called “Chung Dzi”, or "secondary, less important dzi". Lastly, “etched carnelian” is not recognized by the Tibetan. Chung dZi has such a huge variety of shapes, sizes and designs, from plain natural carnelian or striped agate, to huge, beads with many etched lines and patterns, that they would be impossible to value.

A brown and milky white body color Tibetan dzi. The round brown dot surrounded by white circle is the eye of dzi. There are five “eyes” on this bead (called dzi mig inga pa in Tibetan language); three can be seen clearly from this photo, the other two are at the rear part of the dzi. The reader could also easily detect the weathering mark on the surface of the dzi bead. This authentic pure five-eyed dzi is a high value old bead.

The Origin of Dzi Bead
The dzi bead is one of the most mysterious of all the beads known to human being today. Numerous attempts to trace back to their source yield fruitlessly although many dzi beads have been passed down from generations to generations. They exist seemingly in isolation, as if snapped from a chain, with no links to their past. It is unclear to many bead scholars the exact origin of dzi bead, why, when and how it was manufactured. The fact is these tiny stone beads patterned with mystical eyes are one of the most treasured beads in the world today. The Tibetans believe the dzi beads are the precious jewels with supernatural origin.

There are many myths and legends in Tibet describing the origin of the bead. Among the many myths and legends that follow the dzi, the main belief is that the gods created them. The Tibetan theorized divine origin rendered the dzi to be precious and powerful talismans. Most Tibetans will not let go of it because this may cause bad luck to them. In addition, the rarity of the bead makes them as valuable as diamonds in Tibet.

Most Tibetans believe that the dzi were once insects that lived in a kind of nest call “dzi tshang” in Tibet. When the insects were unearthed they will continue to move for a while and eventually become petrified in the form of dzi that exist today. There are stories say that the dzi were once insects but became petrified by the touch of human hand, or by the people with good karma, or by woman’s shirt.

Another legend said that there was a time when Tibet was overwhelmed by severe epidemic and the Tibetans were facing very hard life. Fortunately, the compassionate Vajravarahi Buddha came to rescue by releasing the magical Dzi Beads from the sky. The beads are believed to bring good luck, ward off evil, and protect the wearer from physical harm.

Patterns on Dzi beads reflect Brahmanic teaching of ancient India, and are symbolic of the "wulunfajieta" beliefs. Each pattern bears a different meaning. Yet they are somewhat similar to the Taoist beliefs of Yin & Yang and the 5 elements as the fundamentals of life. Hence from the geomancy point of view, Dzi beads can improve one's luck and help to ease problems and worries. The five-element system views the human body as a microcosm of the universe with the tides of energy and emotions waxing and waning. These energies and emotions are stored in the visceral organs and move through specific pathways or meridians in the body in a regular and cyclical fashion.

When these energies or emotions become blocked, or deficient or excessive through stress, trauma or disease, the five-element practitioner may use carefully controlled pressure on certain meridian points to help move the energy or emotions. This restores the natural cycle of energy and emotional movement, thus helping the person’s natural ability to heal.

There are five elements that operate to provide balance and structure to not only the world, but also our lives and bodies. These five elements are water, fire, metal, earth and wood. The philosophy behind the five elements and their use for healing purposes is that everything in the world is made up of a combination of them. Due to this interconnectivity, each and everything has certain characteristics that are linked to the elements. We can look at the body and how it ties into the elements and the way it works. The liver and the gall bladder are linked to the wood element, small intestines and the heart are connected to the fire element, spleen and the stomach to the earth, lungs and large intestine to metal and finally kidneys and bladder to the water element.

If Your Dzi Bead broken
There is a Question which often people ask me. What to do if the Dzi Bead is Broken? There is several websites that explain what to do when dzi bead is broken.

Broken dzi bead: This can be any bead that has broken off a chunk of itself. Some small tiny little chips around the thread holes can make it a tonic bead. In the case of Fire Burial beads they may have a small divot or chip anywhere on the bead. These are sometimes caused during the time the bead is in the fire. These pieces are released from the body of the bead due to heating and cooling that the bead goes through. These divots/chips will always be used for medicine or potions.

To tell whether the bead qualifies to be considered broken, check to see if any portion of the bead’s symbols, lines, eyes, etc. have been broken into. If the bead’s symbols have been broken it is considered broken. If the symbols are in tact it is considered still viable.

Another way to continue to wear the broken dzi beads is to attach precious metal to the dzi bead, just like the photos below.
When a large portion of the bead breaks off the bead is seen as being finished with its work. It is time for the bead to be retired and allowed to rest as its reward for all of the work it has done.

Some times the beads energy is spent. Some times the bead has collected so much negativity that it causes it to break or burst in order to relieve the negativity. When one of your beads break, bury it some where in or around your home. You can bury it in a house plant, or outside near a tree or you can create a sacred place for it to be buried. You may also find a nice place in nature to bury the bead or sail it into the river with a grateful feeling of what it has done for you. After all, the earth is where it is originated from.

You may replace it with another similar dzi bead on your current situation. Anyhow The bead will continue indefinitely to radiate energy even if it will no longer take an active role in the owner’s life.

Type Of dZi Beads

Some characteristics of good quality beads

Things to take note when wearing the Dzi Beads
To own a Dzi Bead and wearing it will transform one person's intelligence to wisdom, improves one person's spirit and inner consciousness. It will also increases one person's compassionate, thus it is important to treat it as a sacred item and take note the followings when wearing the Dzi bead:-

1) The Dzi bead should be worn on the body (hand, neck, leg, waist etc) as it needs to sense and blend with the natural energy field around our body.

2) The Dzi bead should be removed when bathing to prevent any contact with water, causing the string that holds the Dzi bead to break easily.

3) In the event of committing acts that might be disrespectful to the Dzi bead, kindly remove the Dzi bead temporarily.

4) Please take extra care when changing or washing clothes, or even doing chores that might accidentally dropped or knocked against objects and break the Dzi bead.

5) In the event where the Dzi bead breaks, replace the Dzi bead as soon as possible.

6) Sincere in believing the Dzi bead to work for you will reward you with wisdom and good fortune.

7) It is advisable to place the Dzi bead on the altar when not wearing to prevent any damage to it. In addition, the god on the altar can bestowed luck to the Dzi bead too.

Druzy / Drusy Healing Properties and it meaning / uses

Druzy / Drusy Healing Properties and it meaning / uses

Druzy is the glittering effect of tiny crystals over top a colorful mineral.

Druzy Quartz (also spelt as Drusy or Druse) is a thin layer of quartz crystals covering the surface of a host stone. One good example of Druzy is the crystals filled inside the cavity of a geode. The druzy quartz gems grow slowly over millions of years and are found as the very last layer of growth on agate or another colorful base. It does not always refer to quartz, druzy is any kind of mineral found in a plate-like form, such as garnets, calcite, dolomite and malachite. Common colors are white, yellow, brown, red, and orange. Druzy style beads are great for centerpieces in pendants. While they look sparkly and delicate, druzy quartz is a fairly durable gem.

The term "Druzy" refers to the tiny crystal which is formed within off on another stone in a large number. When the ground water that carries dissolved silica is forced to get filled into a porous area of rock, rapid cooling occurs and it causes the formation of minute crystals. As in Druzy Chrysocolla, the rock is composed of agatized chysocolla with crusts of small sparkling quartz crystals in tiny cavities.

It is beautiful when used in making jewelry. One of the perks to druzy stones is that they are not as expensive as big faceted gemstones and they have sparkle and great color and it can be cut into various shapes with ease.

Drusy Quartz is believed to energize and stabilize both your body and aura well promoting creativity. Druzy Quarts is said to aid in balancing and increasing energy. Since ages it has been used to diagnose disease and is believed to enhance natural extrasensory perception abilities. Like other types of clusters, they can empower the energy of other crystals and stones. Placing a stone on the druzy cluster for a day or longer period enhances their energy, especially if placed in moonlight or sunlight for 24 hours.

Geography features of Druzy
Druzy can be found in any location in which there is a place for water to collect and evaporate on rock. It most often appears along river beds and shorelines. It therefore is helpful for collectors, whether commercial or otherwise, to be aware of the minerals common to an area when they look for a particular type of druzy. Drusy is found within the interior of Quartz geodes.

Gemological Properties
  • Depends on the species: the information below is for quartz
  • Makeup: Silicon Dioxide
  • Hardness: 7
  • Dispersion: .013
  • Toughness: Good (less so for drusy, than single crystals)
  • Crystal System: Trigonal
  • Luster: Vitreous
  • Density: 2.65
Main Features of Druzy
Druzy quartz is made up of many tiny crystals and it has a velvety and soft appearance to it. There can be large formed crystals or many medium crystals with the formation. Treated colorful crystals are sometimes coated with a film of gold, platinum, sterling silver, or titanium. When the Druzy has titanium on it, this adds cobalt, purple, or various rainbow colors. Agates are also easy to dye, so many different shades of backgrounds for the druzy can be made.

Durability and making of Druzy
Drusy Quartz is rated at 7 on the Moh's Scale of Hardness and is best suited for pendants, brooches, and earrings rather then rings and bracelets because of the concern of the Drusy being detached.

Drusy's are gemstones with a natural surface texture much like fine sugar crystals that formed on the Quartz by the phenomena of micro-crystalline facets millions of years ago. Drusy crystals went unnoticed in the jewelry world until recently, when they began appearing in the work of noted carvers and jewelry designers. The appeal is now starting to grow for Drusy Quartz jewelry as it displays a multitude of tiny crystals with a reflective surface reminiscent of sugar or snow.
 Size of Druzy
There are various sizes in this type of crystal there can be very tiny pieces or larger pieces which might be used as display items. The crystals must be cut very carefully as it is easily damaged. The crystal is usually cut fee form to accentuate the beauty of the crystals. In the case of most common quartz material, it is found on the last stages of growth in an agate geode, so pieces are chopped out of the centers of geodes. Some druzy pieces, like garnets, are found as interlocking crystal plates, when found on matrix, they already have a backing, the lapidary artist simply needs to cut out the form and trim off the background matrix to form the cabochon. Vuggy carbonate clusters are often found to have desirable traits, such as the beautiful druzy quartz over sky blue chrysocolla from Peru or the blocks of bright pink calcite from the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Why it so popular
This is a fun and easy stone to work with. The color and flash make it a surefire way to create something beautiful and eye catching. The edges are usually bezel-set do there’s no chipping with the piece of jewelry. You can also use these stones as display pieces because the agate substrate can be polished to show off the mineral layers.

Druzy beads are more like pendants. They are set in a manner that displays the magnificent color and crystal like designs within the beautiful beads. These amazing stones are a result of years of pressure and formation caused by gasses that were trapped as these rocks were being formed and once the rock was solidified, and more minerals were introduced into the rock, crystallizations were formed inside the rock cavity. The colors and crystalline variations are caused by the various minerals present at the formation of the rock. Looking at one of these amazing gems is like looking into a mini universe. Just imagine the time and effort involved in causing this tiny gem that is now here for your enjoyment!

Druzy Titanium or Druzy plated with Titanium is a regular Druzy. The colors of Druzy Titanium are very hot and intensely bright. It shifts from a bright hot purple to that of a neon deep blue with some shade of red. The colors of Druzy Titanium differ with the change in the viewing angles.

Druzy Titanium is used artistically in jewelry making. The favorites are necklaces, bracelets, rings, earrings and pendants. It has an outstanding luster and is believed to have originated in the US. The usual available color of Druzy Titanium is of golden shade.

Treated and dyed or colored druzy stones
By far the most commonly found drusy is quartz (agate or chalcedony), but many other species can exist in this form. A non ‐ exhaustive internet search yielded the following types: chrysocolla, uvarovite garnet, rainbow pyrite, rainbow hematite, psilomelane, cobalto ‐ calcite, calcite, dolomite, sphalerite, melanite garnet, demantoid garnet, azurite, dioptase, siderite, vanadinite and turquoise. There was even a notation about a drusy pocket found in an iron meteorite!

The appeal of drusy material is easy to understand with its multitude of tiny crystals providing a reflective surface reminiscent of sugar or snow. Most none ‐ quartz species of drusy gems, even those with vivid colors like hot pink (cobalto ‐ calcite), day glow green (uvarovite), or multi ‐ Color (rainbow pyrite) Are natural.

Natural Color drusies: cobalto ‐ calcite, rainbow pyrite, uvarovite garnet

Naturally Colored quartz drusy is found almost exclusively in muted colors such as white, grey, tan and cream. Many Quartz pieces, though, are dyed black or other vivid colors such as purple, red, green and blue, and some are coated with titanium or other metallic vapor which creates various iridescent finishes.

Care of Druzy Stones / Jewelry
  • We work with a variety of natural gemstones including druzy, agate, crystal quartz and many, many more. Below are some guidelines to help you care for your new treasure.
  • Take care with your natural gemstones. Avoid knocking or dropping your stone as they are fragile and can easily crack or break.
  • To clean your natural gemstones, simply wipe them clean with a soft dry cloth. Do not immerse in harsh chemicals, or use ultrasonic cleaners.
  • Always remove your jewelry before using any product that contains bleach.  Bleach can cause gold and other metal alloys to breakdown leaving the metal irreparably damaged.
  • Besides chlorine bleach, denatured alcohol, turpentine, acetone, and ammonia can also cause harm.  These chemicals can dull or even pit the surface of the druzy and other gemstones.
  • Remove your jewelry before showering, swimming or bathing in hot tubs. Avoid exposing jewelry to shampoo or other beauty care products like hair spray, hair dyes, spray tan, lotions or perfumes.
  • Store your jewelry in a safe place like a pouch, box or lined jewelry case.
  • With a little care, your natural gemstone jewelry will remain as sparkling and beautiful as the day we made it!
  • We have used brass / copper metal and other metal on top of that we have done some gold colour plating, so that it will looks like a gold….
